Powerset: Find Factz, Get a T-shirt
by Richard Bradshaw
The new semantic search tool for wikipedia, Powerset, have just announced a competition challenging users to find interesting “Factz” using their search tool.
So far, I’ve found:
What eats humans?
We have the usual: zombies, monsters and sharks, but the list also includes Catholics, foxes, streets and pigs…
What do chickens like?
Only three things, potatoes, ham and tandoori. That’s good to know…

Comments
Watch out for those Catholics! Oddly enough, the sentence from which it’s derived is perfectly valid
Yeah, not many of these Factz are actually incorrect, at least one does have the word “not” in the sentence though. This doesn’t seem to be picked up by powerset, but it has pretty good go at trying to understand the content.
Factz! Ahemm! Lets get it started…
1) Who came first? The chicken or the egg!
Not only I got a answer to this dilemma, but also a pragmatic explanation.

3) Who wrote Love in The Time of Cholera,
Didn’t return the Author name, but gave the essence of the novel. Not bad!
