I was looking for the lowest memory browser available since I have an older PC currently and like to do multiple tasks at once, like having Photoshop, foobar2k or a game open while also being able to have a browser open. Yes, Google Chrome is a lot faster than Firefox. Yes, Google Chrome offers some nice features. Nevertheless it's still in beta (like Gmail has been for too long time imo) and it's an very early stage of public development to say “hey, it is faster!!” or “it uses less memory than that other browser”.
